single rl-p or re-se?

dont know what to decide on. one 12" RL-P or one 12" RE-SE

i want good sq, in a small sealed box to conserve space.

since most of you guys have delt with both....opinions.

as stated in this forum many times..... rlp=teh hotness.... i love mine... se's are quite impressive but if u are banking on small boxes rlps are the way to go... mine are ported at 1.5 cubes a piece and that is perdy **** small.... and output is incredible... couldnt be happier with them

SoundSplinter is a direct order place u can get their stuff anywhere else but them, unless sombody on the forum is sellin some or u find them used somewhere else. but this is the cool part... depending on whether u are looking for a 12 or 15 rlps go up in price like 20 or 30 bucks from a 12 to a 15 .... save some cash and get an rlp 15 u wont be dissapointed

now with the 15, will i still retain good sq? i dont want anything to get distorted, you know what im saying? from my exp. a 15 isnt as clear and crisp as a 12. is that the same with these?

the SE likes sealed

the RLp likes ported

Pick the driver size based on how much enclosure space you have. A 15 will sound just as good as a 12 assuming it's in an optimal enclosure. An rlp sounds just fine in a sealed box.

don't worry about the RL-p15 being sloppy. the whole thing about a 15 not as accurate as a 12 isn't really a matter anymore with any good drivers. my 15 Rl-p will keep up with anything i throw at it. it's just a very musical sub imo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i completly agree... 15s are going to lose any accuracy and ure going to gain output with the extra surface area.... not to mention u get that for an extra 20-30 bucks
