i plan on replacing my 2 12" type r's sealed with a single 12 ported. i have a precision power pc2350 to run it. 1400 x 1 @ 4 ohms. i'd like to keep the output that i get from 2 12's sealed with 1 12 ported. or at least close. i've heard an FI Q and a W7 with my own ears, but that's it as far as single 12's that handle 1000+. i'd like to go SQL and keep the box under 3 cu. ft. i'm losing 1/2 my cone area, so i'm not sure this is feasable.

Not sure if it would be louder than 2 Type Rs sealed, but the last gen RE XXX would be a good choice.

i'm concerned with spl, getting low, and loud, but sounding good is most imperative. i'd rather not lose the output, but if i get close, i'm good.

you'll definatly get low and loud with a single 12" XXX, and you'll DEFINATLY sound good while doing it.
