Yeah Bro I have taken these precautions...my car is only 2 years old.. All my audio equipment is top notch an then some.. Every single cable is insulated with cloth tape on top of its own insulation.. My guess is the RCA volt outputs.. I'v always an only used alpine headunits and amps.. High powered units. But apparently when running high power/frequency systems interference is inevitable. So what I did was limit my speaker output RCA to one an use RCA splitters off that one to control the whine with my fader... It's working there.. But I'm still stuck with an accasional static noise but I know for sure now the external equaliser is responsible for that I will be getting rid of it.. I'v got a 4 channel RCA ground loop on the way.. If it works then I'll restore my HU RCA outputs to how it should be.
