Single box for alpine type - R HELP

Im looking to build a ported box for a single alpine type r swr-1042D.

the main problem is that need to be W = 42.5 inch

but i think gonna be too much cubic feet for that subwoofer.

somebody can design me something?

your looking for a single 10" ported box correct? to where it fills up that whole space?

have you ever heard of whats called a beauty panel? it itself has nothing to do with the box BUT covers the box and the rest of the area you want to cover. like this i built for a customer:

you can see the actual enclosure behind the front baffle

You can also just build a box with a big dead space that takes up the remaining space you're wanting to fill up in your cargo area.

I would think it would be a first choice.

This also an option, will normally weigh a bit more though.

I find a diagram with 40 inchs, what u ppl think about it?
