Single amp that'll do 150x2, 500x1 or better?

Just wondering if I could run my whole setup w/ just one amp?

comps: CDT ES620 ~ 150 rms @ 4 ohms

sub: JL12W6v2 ~ 500-600 rms @ 4 ohms

I see the Cadence txa-6004 would fit the bill perfectly, if it weren't so big & cheap. I'm looking for quality build & quality sound. And of course the smaller the better. Any ideas/options? Or am I SOL & have to settle for a 2 amp setup?

Thanks for your time

there are some decent 5 ch amps out there if your wanting to run your entire set up off of one amp. unless you run passive crossovers on everything a 2ch will not work very well. your subs wont like full range. if your just running comps and a sub then a 4ch will work or possibly something like the xtant 3ch amps.

I knew my title might be confusing. I should have put 150x2 + 500x1.

any good 4 channels that'll do this wattage & are 4/3/2?

You can call that amp big.....it is. You can call it cheap but you have to be careful. I'd say a better term is great price. Cadence is a good company and I've been pleased with the amps I've had from them. If it fits the bill, I say go for the Cadence.

No, dont get me wrong Cadence is a great company. Its just that I've heard that that particular amp has had its issues. Hence Cadence wont even sell it any more. I don't want to call it the bad egg, but I'm not gonna take my chances. Now if I were looking on a budget, I'd get one in a heartbeat.

Hah ok I accept.

my Precision Power PCX 4125 will do that ...I also bought the optional Q bass remote to add lower end bass on the sub side...This is one of the cleanest amps I've ever heard and one of the best crossovers you can put on an amp ...It is a pre DEI model so true PPI amp....I've been thinking about selling it...Its rated at 125 x 4 at 12.4v's....expect more under normal operating voltages....
