like around 150... just want somethin to push it, its for my dad so all he wants is some nice umph, ima port it cuz he likes that long extension in the lows, he fell in love with me 12 cvx i got in my truck which is also ported and he likes the sound of that over sealed

Go with a 10 if he likes low end extension. Not that an 8 can't get low, but we all know they lack strength down there.

Not so true. Just put it in a low tuned box and it will give you lows!! Just b/c it an 8" doesn't mean it can't get low...
