Single 8 or 10?

It's going in the back of a 4dr blazer eventually after I decide on what comps to run up front. I'd like to keep all of my cargo area since its my daily hauler but id only have about .5-.6 cu max to fit a sub. Not interested in spl just getting the lows out of my front stage. Will a low powered 8" be enough in a sealed enclosure? Or do I have to make room for a 10"

Not sure if I can power it properly, I'll have to measure my space for an amp and see what's in my price range.

600 rms is fine for the sub. I also have an amp for it to that's new as well

Well if I can't a ported enclosure for the DC I'm looking at around 300w rms or anywhere around there really. Basically the most I can fit behind the trim panel in the back.

Okay thanks, that might be a bit more than I need for this. I'm still not even sure if I can get the .5 cu ft I need for a sealed 8 at this point, too many angles to figure without mocking it up.

Just so you know for next time. You could have done a more beefy 6.5 ported. You would have been better off. Something from DD or Subdown. Little monsters

Sundown will be coming out with sa6.5" 1st quarter of 2017. Should only need about .4 ported. I believe they are 200w . 99$

I got a sundown SD 10 that can work in .5 cubes. I tested it in .3 and .7 cubes. Not too much difference 120 shipped.
