single 4 ohm 18" stroker

i picked one up for 150.00 in great condition,i just didnt relize it was a single ohm sub,i wanted a dual,will this sub still get loud and perform good.

i think you paid too much for it the only time i'd pay 150 for it is if it a fresh recone, that sub is 800 wrms... not the 1600wrms that's the dual voice coil set up, are you interested in selling it?

voice coil configurations have nothing to do with power handling, yours can take 1600w.

There are plenty of amps that will make alot of power @ 4 ohms, problem is, he would have to get a new amp..

Theres like a million 2-channel amps that make max power at 4 ohms bridged.

Well yeah thats obvious....but it can/will get expensive when you need 1600-2000RMS plus all of the electrical upgrades needed to handle all that AB power...some Zapco Class Ds do Rated power at 4 ohms...
Not saying you cant find it, I should rephrase myself. It well get pretty expensive...
