Single 18" setups

i was wondering who has/heard a nice sounding single 18" set up. I know for sure my next system will have an 18" but i plan on running in a large sealed box so that it still sounds decent and at the same time pound.

no SR20DET for me, im gonna do the CA18DET anways there lots of room in my hatch if i fold the back seat down, i can do like 8+cubes easy.

dont know how this turned out to be a motor topic, but my car is pretty quick for bolt on mods. i can hang with GT's, smoke the V6's and pull away from 5.0 (auto) in 2nd gear.

What 18" are you looking into? If it's the XXX, you can do say 5-6 cubes sealed, that would work well. You can also do 6-8 ported. If it's the HC, do 5-8 ported. I wouldn't recommend sealing the HC.

I tried the sealed thing on mine and it wasn't what it should be...

600+ watts. I'd try and get around 1kw. Might be a good idea to go a lil bigger on the box, 6-7 cubes possibly?

The Memphis Audio 18"... The one with triple Nomex spiders n' sht, looks pretty good to me. Don't know about stats on it, but it looks good just sitting there. In fact one of the better looking in my opinion.
