Did you ever get the issue in your car figured out yet?

Wanting to run anywhere between 1500-2500RMS. Don't want to upgrade the alternator, just want awesome daily bass with the ability to really crank out DB if I wanted to. Budget is ~$1k for sub and amp, going with used parts on both..

No i'm taking the dash apart when I get off work today.. I have some old Stinger RCAs sitting in my room im going to test. Ill update that thread tonight.. I havent even had the sub amp on.. Left my deck on easy listening Jazz lol

That LMS 5400 looks crazy, everyone says its amazing SQ wise, especially for an 18" .. I cant justify buying one new, and I dont see them used very often //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

There's some 15's around as well. As you say, they aren't cheap and don't come up used often. I don't think guys who buy these sell them.

LV5 is a good motor, but I'd buy one broken and find some better softparts.
