I say go with the PG sub and Viper amp. A nice winning combo. The box shouldn't be too hard to design.

o yea Im going to leave it sealed for now. So thats no biggie. I'll probably just make it out of 5/8ths mdf, i doubt it will need 3/4ths.

Im looking for a cheap 10 or 12 which I would build a ported box for. I will probably use a Viper 300.1 for it. Nothing too expensive since its only for the lady. Im probably leaning towards the 10 because the box will be smaller. Unless the 12 works well in a smaller box 2.0 or less.

How about a pioneer TS-W306c 12"? 300 Will get it moving pretty good and its only 70 bucks.

do u think it will need it? 250 watt sub.. come on now.. haha. I might just do it from 3/4ths for the hell of it and get an extra piece and cut it to be a second front for me box since i messed up pretty bad on the sub cutouts for my box. Then I will cut them better and that piece will be the new front. Plus it will lift the subs another 3/4t" so they have more space.

eh. even thought its only 30 bucks more, again this is for the lady, I could care less. As long as the sub isnt legacy, lightning or some other crap its fine. Plus PG is pretty respectable, has the LEDs (girly shit for her) and seem to work well in a lot boxes.

Yea I might go with the 306 then. Because they are ~45 at ikesound. Same price as the Octane Rs. I was thinking about just getting the Octane ZRs but I also hear good things about the 306 and its cheaper.
