Single 12 on 1.5-2k ish?

What's do you guys think would be a good one. Maybe a DC XL 12? This is going in a center console I between my seats. I'll make whatever room is needed for it. I just can't have a blowthrough anymore so I have to move my **** to the inside of the truck

I'm thinking like 3.5 after all displacements. Haven't modeled it in winisd yet but I'm guessing itd be somewhere around that. I don't care I just can't have a blowthrough. I rushed into erring a small system an just picked up a AQ1200 and a HDC3 12 but I can already tell I'm gonna wanna go right back to a big system. Just ***** I can't have a blowthrough. I'm gonna try and get a XL 12 or something else that can take something like a AQ2200

that is way too big... for that power I would keep it @ around 1.2-1.8 net vol...

How can I do that small of a box while porting and tuning the box to like 34 htz? Multiple box builders on here were reccomending like 2.5 cu feet for the hdc3 on the aq1200. I'm not trying to bash you just curious to why or how I could have a box that small tuned to around 34 htz

is said net vol bro... the space that the sub sees needs to be in the 1.2-1.8 region on 2k.

If you can't do at least 140 with a 12 and 2KW in a pickup you might as well hang it up.

IMO 3 cube is good for most of the big boy subs. Grab yourself a 4" coil sub if you really like to go hard on it. I know someone here has TRF 12's and IIRC there's another 4" 12 floating around the FS section.

wmd2 12..... Ran mine in 3.8cf box tuned to 33hz @ .5ohm off my old aq2200.. Got silly...

I agree with @RangerDanger, your initial box was way too big. The DC XL M2 will take 2k all day and sound good doing it!
