Single 12 in SUV....want to do 140.

Back in the game.
I'm building out my 07 escalade.
Ct meso 6.5 components up front- coaxes in the rear doors.

Right now I have a jp23 v2 for sub power. Big 3. 2 agms up front. Stock alt-160amp.
I want to impress with a single 12.
I have a pre-fab 700watt rms sub in now and it slaps already!

Cabin gain for the win! Especially the lows.

I'm looking at a VXF, XFL, CT Meso, Icon.... anything 200-300$
1.5cubes@35 for what i'm running now-- very solid and musical enclosure.

Can I fill this SUV up to 140 on a single 12 with ~ 2k rms????????

You’ll need a good enclosure, but 140 is doable with a 12.

An A.Bass XFL 12 tuned to 30-32Htz should get it done

Ran 10" XFls in a previous vehicle. They get down. I like this box though. 1.5 choking that XFL?
I know skar has a bad rap over here... but VXF??

BTW I'm looking for sound quality also... not just spl. I ran a XR12 in a sedan. I thought it sounded a bit cleaner than the xfl, but i'd have to do a side by side.

I like the VXF. I’ve done a couple of custom boxes for those. Any of the subs you listed could do what you want. What type of music are you listening to mostly?

Old school hip-hop , raggae, rap, trap, slo n throw, bass, rnb... lol.
Love all kinds of music as long as it sounds good.

Wire it up at .5 ohm.
The JP23 can definitely handle that and you will get the most power for your single sub.
