Okay thanks guys ill be doing that as soon as possible, might have been the chevy dealership. Had ****** rebuilt while I was visiting parents, maybe they disconnected it and ground it out.

I changed out most of the alt to batt 1/0 cable and added another run. The fuse holder was melted to the plastic. I checked the voltage on the alt and batt and they were at 16.8 so I guess that fixed it.
