Hey, a guy i work with is selling his home theater for some quick cash. It consists of a 5.1 dolby digital pioneer receiver(dont know the model) and sinclair audio speakers.

except the towers only have 2 drivers instead of 3 and are ported.

They look like very nice speakers, he only had the towers hooked up and couldnt play them loud because his daughter was sleeping but they sounded very nice....just wondering what the whole setup would be worth approximately, he said he wanted 800 for the works, which sounded like a pretty good deal to me

Is it the whole 5.1 system including the receiver for 800?

o its not stolen or anything, ive known the guy for awhile and hes had it for longer than ive known him, and i nkow it all works fine, he just needs quick cash and im a friend etc etc....im just wondering if its a good deal, i cant find any current prices on any sinclair audio stuff, new or used...that is all

I take it they are in the Brighton Series?

Are they BT26 or BT25?

not sure what the models are...i think bt25..but im not sure. i have a picture of them and you can see the towers and center, if that helps...if not no biggie ill just find out in a couple days

They are not even listed in their 'classic' section so these must be pretty old models...

Best thing to do is to audition them then compare them to a system that costs about 2x as much. I would probably not pay more than half of what an equivalent new system would cost unless there was something really spectacular about the Sinclairs. A 2-way TMM design may not be the best way to go either.
