Simple Question

I went out to do my big 3 upgrade today and found that all of the connections i needed to make were inaccessible (sp). Im running ~1000rms

Questions:

Should i add a second battery even thought i cant do the big 3

With the second battery, do i connect the ground from my battery in my hood to the second batter, or make a new seperate ground for hte second battery

Would it be beneficial to do a big 3, but for instance on the battery to ground (cant get to where it grounds now) should i run the wire from my battery to a new ground that i make or does it have to be on the same spot as the current ground

What kind of car do you have? What is making things so inaccesible. Is there one element in particular?

If you get a second battery, you can either hook up the batteries + to+ and - to -, or you can connect the + to + and round the new battery somewhere else on the car. If you are already going to be running one line for + i would just go ahead and connect both + to + and - to -. Just my preference though.

And no, the new ground does not have to be in the same spot as the current ground.

upgrade your stock battery before you add a second. but really work on the big 3

You might have to dig in and get your hands dirty, but ANY car can get a BIG 3 upgrade. Some just take more work than others....

upgrade the stock batt. and then upgrade the ground for the batt. (under the hood)
