I am installing a second amp, is it ok to add the second power wire on the same post in the fuse box as my other amp?
Okay, guess I wasn't missing anything then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gifIf you are running the main power for even one amp straight out of the fuse box then you're asking for trouble already.
Doing it that way for two and you're asking for a fire.
The "installers" (and I use that term with great contempt in your case) at your local Best Buy should be drawn and quartered. I'm sure they did it for no other reason than their own laziness.bestbuy installed my first one, its a small amp to power my rear 6x9s....should I install the power for my sub amp directly to the battery then?
It has already been established that sadly that is exactly what they did. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifthey didnt run the power wire for the small amp to the fuse box did they?
yea he did lol....should I fix that?? I have really maxed out that amp with no problems thus far..they didnt run the power wire for the small amp to the fuse box did they?
What turns the amp on and off now?yea he did lol....should I fix that?? I have really maxed out that amp with no problems thus far..
also, do I need to install a turn on lead?
Well I already have one amp installed with a lead, any way I can share that or do I need to run a whole new lead? What turns the amp on and off now?
If it were me i'd go in there, speak to the manager, and chew them the **** out. An amplifier run to the fuse box? WTF?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif If the amp is big enough, hell i'd use the word "sue" just to see the looks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif on their faces //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif Tell them it could've cause an electrical fire in my car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifbestbuy installed my first one, its a small amp to power my rear 6x9s....should I install the power for my sub amp directly to the battery then?

thank you!you gotta run a whole new power wire to your battery and then get a distribution block to run power wire to 2 amps.
