I have a Kenwood DNX696S installed ina Toyota Land Cruiser (1997). Back then the radios were not tilted towrd the driver, but rather were parallel to the windshield.
It is hard to read the screen becayse the display they used does not have a wide side-to-side viewing angle. It has a nice up and down angle adjustment in software, but that doe snot help.
Anyone know if newer Kenwoods are better in this respect? ANother brand would be OK, but would ocmplicta ethe installation with different connectors, etc.
Kenwood has their new 10" floating display "AAS" units,but that would be too big.
