Sickest tools evar!

Never heard of them before, and in a field like power tools, names DO mean everything. Also, the website's arrogance makes me not interested as well. You don't see Makita or Milwaukee boasting claims about their shit for one reason: they don't have to. This is not to say that they're bad or their tools aren't good, but I'll pass. Prices are out the *** too, and I can't imagine what I have can get much better for what I need.

Are you affiliated with this company?

i have heard of them but no where sells them unless you hunt them down and drive forever and pay out the butt. i would rather use my craftsman, skil, dewalt, porter cable, and the list goes on kuz i can get them all within a 10 min drive. and now they will work.

Exactly what I was trying to say. They may indeed be excellent, but the prices are simply ridiculous, and you KNOW that a porter cable or a bosch will work how you need it to.

No not in any way. Not to bust your bubble but jsut because YOU haven't heard of them means nothing. Do some research. They are one of the most respected names in wood working tools among pros. And I don't mean the so called pros collecting a check from Home Depot either. I gurantee you Norm Abrahms knows who Festool is. Also Makita and Milwaukee are not even in the same league....and yes I know, I use tools to make a living with.

As far as pricing goes its no different than anything else. Why do most of your super subs run $300-700 apiece (or more) when I can go to pepe Boys and get a 12 for $59.00? Quality thats why.

I was just trying to share something that I know to be a good product.

I agree.

Until you have used tools that outperform the ones you have, how do you know there is something better?
Because it doesn't matter. I can make a box for myself in under four hours carpeted. If the wood is already cut, then usually 3 hours. If I moved any faster, I'd make mistakes, and the .05 seconds these tools would save me when I'm cutting a circle or sanding an edge does NOT equate to a 300% price increase.

So all you use your tools for is to build speaker boxes then? Ok well if thats the case then yeah I understand. A cheap table saw and router is all you really need then. I do ALOT more with mine though. Like I said before....it was just an FYI post in the first place. Next time I'll check with you first mmmkay.

I have a skill saw from like 1975 - but its still tits!

Tools look neat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif just wouldnt wanna pay the price when I could get something else that could likely perform the same......

i have a builders liesence(spelling) and i use my "cheap" tools and they work fine. i would rather not have to send my tool off to be repaired i want to go back to the store and exchange it or get it fixed locally. what do you do with your tools?

No, I use my tools for other things as well. The stool that my behringer is sitting on was made using these tools, as is the end table in our guest room. Festool couldn't have made them easier to make frankly.
