I took some pics i wanna post up on here but i had my cam on hi res so there like 1.5-2 megs each.. Is there a way to shrink them down to put them on here, so i dont kill someone with 56k
its actaully quite easy to resize images, but ive never used any of those so i cant help you, i use adobe photoshop - and it has a save for web feature that i can optimize the image to a certian file size with minimal degridation to image quality, and resizing the image is easier than that.
you need to change the height and width on the image (im guessing its a 3~4 megapixel camrea) to something like 640 [pixels] wide and 480 [pixels] tall. and if its already small, you need to change the resolution of the image to 72 pixels per inch.
there should be options in there to do that somewhere.
all i do is resize it then if i want to keep the old size i jus save it as a diff file name. and the filters, i normally dont mess with them. more of a personal preference.
Yea, this is pissing me off.. The original pic was 1.9 mb, 2500x1400 res ( close to ) took it down to 480x640 it was still 900 kb .. Then the pic becomes all pixled.. Am i doing something wrong or missing something >?? thanks again
