Ever try drilling a hole in the center of the dustcap? I have heard of a few people doing it with the old Treo CSXs because there was to much pressure and no where for it to go

If you have to drill a hole and let pressure escape you mighta s well lower the power to them...

lmao...you should see the subs now....they looked ****ed up after we trimmed off the parts of the cone that ripped loose...im sure he wouldnt care what they looked like as long as they perform like he wants...can't see what they look like anyway...

This has been a very good learning experience for me...I'm sure Bruce would prefer us to learn on somebody else's equpiment...lol

Welp...follow up...

Matrxx Dude came by today and worked on the car...I had to stay inside and wait on customers so I don't know all the details but this is what I think I know...

He pulled out a 6" aero...still wasn't low enough

He drilled a hole in each of the dust cap and put the 4" aeros back in but cut them shorter to bring the tuning fq up a tad...still not low enough but I'll be damed if it worked...they didn't whistle like I thought they would

He returned everything like it was origionally but with a hole in each dustcap and it appears to be working...so thanks bumpin buick for the suggestion
