Shredding Soft Parts

Yah, the two 4" areo's for two subs could be a problem expecially if they are long. If your box is 4.5cf your two 4" areo ports should be no more than 8" long. But for sure going to two 6" or 4 4" areos will be better and louder.

But the 7kd at 1ohms will beat the hell out of most 12's. So that probably doesn't help. lol

 
Ok...so today we pulled out the 4" and put in the 6" and tuned the box to ~40hz (was @ ~30hz) and we think this may have fixed the problem but it dosn't seem to put out as much now.

- When I tested the subs after we first reconed them the fs ~62hz

- Box volume is ~4.48-4.5 BEFORE the subs and 6" aeros that are 12" long with 2" of one and 1" of the other sticking out the front of the box.

 
i would think it would sound like a high pitch whistle
