I suspect that excellent Parts Express service is about to go to shyt. Sad day indeed.
That was my concern.

Pretty sure Dayton is the parent company, and they're a pretty big name in the biz these days, wondering how that plays into this.

Guess maybe they feel they may not need the retail end given the market shift towards manufacturer direct, guess we'll see.

Nobody likes changes, especially when its a company that offers a good product at a reasonable price point....
I dont forsee their online product changing, that would be ******* & would imagine they know that..

Sure someone feels the local retail store front & foot traffic vs payroll isnt worth the effort.
We truly have no idea how much foot traffic / sales they produce. Ive never been...

Kind of reminds me of Frys Electronics out here in San Diego, not speaker related, pc related...
They had on line & retail presents.
They went tits-up after many years & they had a TON of retail foot traffic...

As long as customer service , knowledge base , product & pricing doesnt change, it will be business as usual....
Assuming they still will have some sort of customer service team, answering phone calls, emails, tech support...
If not, all bets are off...
Wishful thinking?
being optimistic is unlike me...

Radio Shack is what came to mind with me.

They held on to brick and mortar retail WAY too long.
