Your box is fullvery nice i like it alot pm me price's
That number is one of the extremes. You can do alot to the system, on average I would say I charge about $80 to paint a case and controllers. My work is very detailed and I'll replace the cases if you're not happy.Oh, I'd never spend anything even remotely close to that. I might do some myself, but given the history of Xboxs, I doubt I'd bother considering mine will probably brick within a year.
Think about how much you would pay an audio shop per hour for work. Some of these cases take a few days to a week to complete. So $220 isn't too far out there. Just depends how bad you want the custom work done and done "right"lol at costing 220.
I'd seriously doubt you spent 40 hours working on any of those... a few hours here and there, time off, time to dry, etc., ok. But not 40 hours straight work.Think about how much you would pay an audio shop per hour for work. Some of these cases take a few days to a week to complete.
If you get pissed and toss your controllers, maybe so. lolNice, would look better if you had access to a cnc machine. But nice none the less, what kind of paint is used? looks like the paint might chip after awhile of spirited playing, specially madden '10
Those times are including everything you mentioned. You're not just paying for the time, but for the quality of work. I've seen some chop jobs from "professional" modders and they charge more than me minus the guarantee.I'd seriously doubt you spent 40 hours working on any of those... a few hours here and there, time off, time to dry, etc., ok. Which number are you referring to?Thats pretty steep for people on here, given that i do the same thing to computer cases and other things often, and can operate a dremel fairly well. id say 100$ including shipping and all would be a fair price for cutting a case, installing plexi and LEDs, fans whatever, and painting it. Think about it, thats only about 10$ worth of materials if that, plus a couple hours labor. However i charged a guy 100 bucks before for mounting a bass knob in his accesory panel. lol. All i did was drill a hole and use some hot glue, came out fresh. But im sure plenty of nerds will gladly spend that kinda money for that stuff.
