Thanks for your opinion...I have pulled apart several Xboxs to work on the insides, specifically cooling issues. I know what's involved. I do realize how much time it takes to do certain things like paint, filling, soldering etc... I was just offering my opinion. I said I'd never pay that much to mod a box that is in it's very design a PoS and will likely die sooner than later. Not to mention that the platform is now what, 3 years old? And you're talking about spending as much on the mod as on the platform.
To each their own, and if you find suckers who want to spend that kind of money, go for it.
You talking about the first one pic? Yeah that was a rough job, but notice the improvements on the recent ones.Cool idea for sure. But not to be a negative nancy the edges of the cutting needs more work. They need to be smoothed out more or something.
I agree; that was a crappy job. Takes practice and patience to get it right w/o a cnc machine. I don't accept any job that I can't make look professional by hand.I agreed with this as well but didn't want to bring it up. Honestly, the Dremel work isn't up to par on some of those things... maybe that was his earliest work, but if I paid $200+ for that kind of stuff, it'd better be done by CNC. Just my NSHO.
Pm repliedpm'd you about mod
It means just as much to them as ours car systems to us. And I don't know about you, but I don't sit around and stare at my set-up all day.i just dont get the point of it. who sits there and stares at their xbox all day? it would get old after looking at it for a minute.
