ok, currently i have a kicker zx750.1. its putting out 930wrms @ 2 ohms says the birthsheet. now, on the the webistes and stuff it says 375wrms @ 4 ohms. i have my L7 4 ohms VC wired to 2 ohms. now, i picked up a kicker comp cuz it was on sale. i figured i could re sell it or throw it in my girlfriends car. its a 4 ohm SVC. i could turn it up to the same same level on my HU before it distorts and, i kept all the amp setting the same. shouldnt i have to turn down the gain? i mean, is that right? being able to go to the same level on the HU and, not even touch the gain? i know its only gonna put out 375 with that 4 ohm load but, its only a 150wrms sub? andd, i was free airing the dam thing. im gonna send my amp in any way because it was making strange noises. but, what do you guys think?
