should i trade newish L7 and CVX for an MTX 9500?

In the right enclosure and around 1500 watts that L7 will beat the 9500 any-day of the week keep it. 9500s way overrated and way to ****ing heavy for there capability. Back in the day with a zx750.1 on a kicker CVX 12 in a ford taurus I stomped my friends 9500 and he had a Rockford T1000bd on it ( and he had a jeep cherokee). So keep the L7.

You could always just goon the whole thing. Do the trade, then sell the 9500 on eBay and buy another L7. Those things go for like $400+, you could make a solid $150 profit and have a brand new L7 for your trouble.

Or this. You could get 2 L7s or get a second CVX. (CVX's are probably the best sub i have owned to date for the money).

I love my CVXs. I'd keep the Kickers, or trade and then sell the 9500 and buy another CVX to run with the other and make a little profit, like someone else said.

JBL 1200.1, same amp I used for an L7 back in the day. Probably snag one from HookedOnTronics for $215 shipped.

If you buy the CVX's off of Hifisoundconnection and get them refurbed they are cheap. So are the L7s. But I would run like 1200 per sub or get a 15 of some sort. I had an AQ2200 on a CVX 12 for awhile yah it would kill it if I wanted it to but i could hear when i was pushing it to hard. Anyhow if fvcking hammered and sounded great.

I'd vote the 2 CVXs over the 2 L7s. I don't know about the Type Rs though as I have no personal experience with them.
