Should I just replace exsisting battery in trunk?

I have had a Boss Blade BL3KD 3000 watt monoblock amp hooked up to a 15" L7 for over 2 and half years with no problems since hookup. I have them hooked up to a Stinger SPV44 battery in the trunk. I have been using the battery for over 4 or 5 years lol. Its been corroding for some time now and an hoping its the cause to my current audio problems haha.

I dont want my lights dimming at all or little as possible. My question is...

Should I just replace the battery(looking at a SPV20) or is there a better way to power system?

You should really check all your wiring connections There is no way that amp should be making your lights dim

That amp will make them dim before a amp that really does 800 watts will

thats true I gues I didnt consider that it is probably pulling alot of power its just not efficient. But still it is only fused for 90 amps? I feel like it isnt drawing near 90 amps all the time so will that put that much of a strain on the electrical system.?

to the op what size power and ground wire do you have

I have 0 gauge connecting everything. Have 2 250 amp fuses on the wire going battery to battery.

All my connections are solid. Never really noticed dimming before just recently when Ive been having the problem of my sub making sounds like its hitting a note with the volume all way down and system going on n off when I stop n go.

I just want to know if I should wire it differently, replace battery?

You can say what you want or know about the amp, I get it. I got it refurbed for $100 and its worked everyday for 3 years so far. Had it to 2 15" L7 for awhile, Wangin!

Is honestly probably the only decent Boss ever made.
