I am thinking about getting rid of everything and starting new, well except the PDX 4.150.

What I am thinking about doing:

3sixty.2 - use oem navi hu

xs65 up front

xs69 rear

NO SUB

I am thinking about going this route because I guess I am not a bass freak anymore I can't recall any day this pass summer where I rolled down the windows to jam either. So it kind of makes sense to have a more simple setup.

What do you think?

those xs65's should do you well, but it can't hurt to put a small 8'' somewhere in there, just to get some lows. not to be super bassy or anything...

So the xs69 won't produce any bass?

My thought would be that you probably will not get enough low end response out of the xs69 since it is more of a midbass driver.

I had a 2007 V6 6MT sedan, and I was trying to plot a way to get a IB sub in the middle of the rear deck and just keep the stock head unit. Unfortunately, the fawker that hit me head on changed my plans by totaling my car.

Since your using the 360.2 I would say go with a small sub, possibly IB in the rear deck. Now if you go with a different processor I would say 3-way active front stage.

yeah, midbass drivers aren't designed to carry the subwoofers load, like produce those frequ with great response.

Honestly with a small 8 in the rear deck doing IB you would never change....

Man I'm in fort worth, we have north texas prelude meets off loop 12 in dallas, once a month.

you should come, i know you have a accord, but we just love to have hondas out there, and i would love to help youwith your set up!

add a set of Aura Bass shakers with a small amp if it sounds decent and you need a little low end punch....

Reading on ID forums, it seems everyone uses the x69 with horns I am not expecting low end sub bass, just a little low end.

F I wanted the MT Sedan, Fun to drive! But I ended getting the auto at a great price.

but those guys swear by horns...so if your lookin into spending that much, go for it.

I wouldn't mind trying some horns in my next setup, but would want it paired up with an excellent mid bass speaker. Monies not allowing that right now.

I also wouldn't go subless. Like others have mentioned. I would do at least an 8" sub somewhere.
