well my friends deck keep shuting off. it was working fine for a few years. so i don't think it is a lack of volts problem. but thats not out of the question. his deck well run for awhile but then it just randomly shuts off. if it is a voltage problem how can i test that?

anyone? there is no dimming in the lights or flickering. he does not have any stereo upgrades accept for a cheap deck. everything runs smooth accept that now his deck shuts off at random.

i thought that would be it. worset case senario though, any ideas of what connection might be lose and causing this problem if that is whats wrong. what should i check for to make sure

yea i think mine just started doing this, when i turn it up loud and i hit a very small bump, it turns off and turns back on, real annoying. idk what it is.

it was working fine for a few years until you did what? did you add anything? if nothing then maybe it's time for a new deck.
