Shopping for budget amplifier

I have two subs that are 150w RMS at 4ohms and I plan to wire them in parallel to pull 2ohms from the amp. I want to spend as little as I can for a decent amp so I dont wanna spend much more than $100 for a 300-400w amp.

i would get some thing that makes more power at 1 ohm that way you leave room to up grade later.trust me 300-400 watts isn't going to work for long .you'll want louder , then you'll have to start all over again. i've seen it time and time again

if you want a nice, cheap, 300w amp... here you go:

punch amp

rated at 200, but these older fosgate amps are under rated, and some have been clamped at over 300 watts

Look up jl audio j2 amps 500.1 or the 250.1

Thats actually a good idea but my old alpine got stolen and I cant afford much (paying for college).

go through the amp classfeilds, you could get a nicer used rockford, or sundown cheaper, or a little more than that i know last night there was an rf punch 3002 for 60 shipped, id get that way before that term, that was my 3 amp, and it was a peice had no balls.
