Shop Ran Power/Speaker wires together?!?

A local audio shop installed my power cable for me into my car. I had already run 12 gauge speaker wire down the driver side and asked them do the power on the passenger side. I figured since the battery was on the passenger side it would be no problem. Well, low and behold, they run it on the driver side next to my speaker wire. I called them back and they told me this is okay, it is just the RCA cables you can not run power wire next to. Is this BS?

you'll be fine.

i ran my audiobahn 4ga amp kit with rca/power/remote wire all running thru the passenger and no noise at all.

i think it varies on the craftsmanship of the rca's/power wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
