Hi guy, I couldn't find much information on this area regards if I can get 1 cap to connect to 2 amp? Cause, I someone have given me a 1.5f cap and is it possible to connect to my 2 amp in my car? If it can be done, how should the wiring goes.

batt -> fuse -> cap(+) -> T block -> amp

batt -> cap(-) -> T block -> amp

Can that be done?

the cap is for your electrical system, the first thing you put with batt -> fuse -> cap(+) -> T block -> amp

is the one you want, caps usually dont do much to help your ssytem, they usually harm your electrical unless your electrical system has the power to charge a cap, in which case you really dont need it.

caps are not really supposed to be 1farad, thats crazy huge.

it was a good idea.. but the application of the capacitor in the mobile audio environment is just impractical.

Sorry this cap is not for electrical sys, it's for my auido sys. Maybe i didn't mention clearly. I using 1.5f to keep my 2 amplifier working. can it be done?? Any idea? I understand using 2 more cap to 1 amp is possilble, but is it possible for 1 cap to 2 amps??

yeah, anything connected to your + terminal of the battery and your chassis, is now part of your electrical system.

caps will work for everything in your electrical system, not just your audio system.

caps hold power and release it faster than most batteries can.

if you get a good battery though, it'll meet the demands of your amplifiers in most cases.

a nice yellow top, or batcap would be fine for this application

no lol yuor talking about the same thing.... the audio system is powered by the electical system

Sorry for the mistake then, If i change the set up to this way will it be better.

batt(+) -> fuse -> cap(+) -> distribution block stand alone for amp only(+) -> 2 amp

batt(-) -> cap(-) -> distribution block stand alone for amp(-) -> 2 amplifier(-)

-ve wire from the cap will not ground to the chasic, will directly link to the 2 amp

Can this set up be used?

Will this help. Thanks for the advice again.

I dont think you understand their advice. I will try to clear it up. Throw the **** cap in the trash and then wire all your amps up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

EDIT: A cap affects your entire system no matter where you put it. Just do the big 3, then if needed new battery and HO alt.
