which series are you goin with? if you haven't decided yet, let me suggest the Extreme II's.....but you'd better have a big-*** amp or two to drive it. I'm pushing mine with a pair of JBL 1200.1's (a little over 2500w) and it still wants more.

WOW. What size is the enclosure? ported?

it's in a 10 cubic foot wall ported and tuned to 64hz at the moment, however, the box size and tuning frequency change weekly, as I'm trying about everything you can imagine to break the 154 mark //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i was thinking about shocker audio but realized that unless i got their top end subs like the Xtreme II's or a Shocker 3 my amp will most likely toast them. 150 with a pair of SS 12"s is highly unlikely seeing as how those are their entry level woofers. oh loneranger you think a Shocker Xtreme II 15" can handle roughly 3500watts rms??

If ya think about it, anybody who subjects themself to hours of manual labor in sub freezing temperatures just to gain a few tenths of a decible EVERY WEEKEND FOR MONTHS AT A TIME has to be out of their mind.....or preparing for the upcoming MECA season!

I dunno if it would take that kinda power for daily use, but I'm sure it would take it for a few minutes at least and not even phase it. I've been told stories about these woofers taking burps of up to 20kw without damage.......

Hows the shocker III ? I should be getting one tomorrow. I plan on giving it like 800 watts daily and about 2000watts for comp. Sealed box for daily big ported for comps. What ya think?
