for this year (junior year at University of Delaware) my essentials are:

42" LCD HDTV

xbox 360 elite

4 huge old *** floor speakers, dayton 120 sub combo, and a receiver

kegerator

you cant really need more than that...

You HAVE to buy at least a cheap technics receiver off ebay and some cheap *** tower HT speakers and BLAST them in ur dorms.

i got a question...im sick of spending money on posters every year...anyone know where i could get like a huge poster made...like the size of my entire wall...maybe 12 feet long by 8 feet high...were not allowed to wallpaper or else i would.

I like to use those cloth posters. Though it might be hard to find a pattern of something other than a rock band or tie-dye.

If you plan on smoking non-tobacco cigarettes, invest in a SPOOF, a couple/few fans, lots of dryer sheets, febreze, and something to stuff under your door. if u really wanna be hardcore about it, get some duct tape and seal ur door up (all the edges). also burning lots of candles right up next to your door helps a lot.

Or if you don't want to play James Bond you could get a vaporizer. Plus that way it's healthier.

you need a power supply...and they are about 150 each...and for a 2500D youd need about 4 of them

IMO it would probably be cheaper, easier, more efficient, and a lot prettier if you just bought a new HT amp. Converting 2000w is going to require some expensive shit, not to mention the efficiency will be poo so you'll likely be pulling 4000w+ from the wall...

Just get a decent 1000w plate amp.

You can plug those into a receiver. He was wanting to run a sub though (and one that likes a lot of power too). AFAIK, plate amps are only for subs, because they are generally mono.

does anyone know what those leather chairs are that can lay back and also have the leg rests? I used to see them at best buy but they don't sell them anymore. I don't know what kind of chair it's called though....sorry for such a vague description.
