Shit to buy for your dorm

Maybe a gaming system if your into that there tends to be a lot of people that like to get high and play games. Dont forget the fridge so you have plenty of space to keep the beer cold.
AND...dont forget the neon to go with the fridge:

An egg crate to put on your matress. Those matresses are thin as hell. I never lived in a dorm at school but every girl I spent the night with at colleges that didn't have one on her bed it just absolutely sucked.

Im going to be leaving for college mid spetember, and i dont really know what I should bring to my dorm to have a good time. I kno their alot of students on this forum so i would like your opinion. I just bought a new HP lap top and a home audio system to go with it
x2, I'm talking to my roommate about everyting. I hope my neighbors can put up with my ED 15K and 600 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Checklist:

Fridge

gym clothes

Toaster

coffee machine

linens

condoms

1. Kegerator is easily one of the best investments i have made - we got a hell of a deal on... msrp: $700, we got it out the door: $315 brand new! it brings down the cost of beer to ~ $.30/beer as opposed to ~ $.50/beer. plus whenever you have parties you collect $5 from guys and you can throw that towards the next keg. but there is a good (almost certain) chance that you cannot have those in the dorm. my suggestion is to get a decent (4.4 cubes) mini fridge so you can stock it with 12-packs, partyballs (55 beers), and what not.

2. Beerpong table. again, one of the best investments i have made. since you are in a dorm i would suggest doing the following...

3. Plenty of cups! go to your local costco and buy the 240-pack for ~$10. they must be regulation size solo's!

4. other cool shit that everybody else has suggested too!

As silly as this may sound, a candle warmer. Since most dorms don't allow open flames, get a candle warmer to make your room smell good. I know that my freshman dorm was the size of a shoebox, and started to smell like BO after a while. The candle was actually really nice.

Coincidently enough, my freshman dorm buildings were actually named the shoeboxes...just //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Lofting your bed is amazing. Or, if you cant do that, get some expander thingies (bed bath and beyond has them) that raise the bed about 10 inches. You can fit a shit ton more stuff under there believe me.

Also christmas lights, lots of posters esp half ***** women.

If you plan on smoking non-tobacco cigarettes, invest in a SPOOF, a couple/few fans, lots of dryer sheets, febreze, and something to stuff under your door. if u really wanna be hardcore about it, get some duct tape and seal ur door up (all the edges). also burning lots of candles right up next to your door helps a lot.

and if you have room, buy some nice chillin chairs for your room. I had no room for them, but some nights we would have ~20ish people in our dorm, so places to sit are pretty sweet.

haha the SPLOOOF...gotta love that...

for this year (junior year at University of Delaware) my essentials are:

42" LCD HDTV

xbox 360 elite

4 huge old *** floor speakers, dayton 120 sub combo, and a receiver

kegerator

you cant really need more than that...
