Shipping subs in box.

Ok I'm selling my subs, but i dont know how to ship them and the box if i do. I've looked at UPS and stuff but from what i know and how i did it, it spits back crazy prices like $200+. I've seen boxes and subs ship off ebay for a lot less. What is a reasonable price for shipping a box like mine. Is 36" wide, 18" deep and 18" high. weighs around around 50 lbs.

Can anyone point my in the right direction? Also, from the looks of the box and subs, whats about a good asking price for it? Its tuned to 33 Hz and braced. The two 10" subs in total take 800 Watts at 2 Ohms and are in mint condition (with the exception of being broken in).

Sell locally, shipping is just getting more expensive. You're lucky if you have a business account or something like that with UPS/Fedx, like I'm sure Fish and a couple of the other box builder guys do. You'll probably get more locally anyway

Just for kicks... I ship out pretty big boxes out to mexico frequently, so the place gives me a 15% discount. Costs me about 220 per box.

Ya I've got it on craigs list now, its just out town is too small to have a good one and its been up there for weeks and not a bite... Oh well. Thanks all
