Hey guys so im about to sell my two /////Alpine SWE 12" subs and i wanted to see what subwoofers you guys new about. so heres what i need..

Im in a single cab truck so im limited to about 6 inches in mounting depth. I love the SQ that these Alpine SWEs give me but lets be real, they are only 250 watts RMS and i want more than that. I was looking at the Alpine SWS 12" but they are only gonna give me 50 watts more to each speaker. So what do you guys know? Whats a good subwoofer with about 6" mounting depth thats gonna give me loud SQ in a sealed box? all opinions wanted. thanks guys!

My spending limit would be about $500 for a pair of 12s and as far as the amp goes, i will figure that out when i decide on the subs.

thanks for the feedback falcon, but id rather not go with a "shallow mount" sub. I know im asking about shallow woofers but id like to get as close to 6" mounting depth as possible. Any other subs you know of?

Sorry, post had a hyperlink in it so the mods probably threw it in the trash.

When I first got into car audio I was infatuated with Earthquake, their SWS like might help you. Their 15" version only has 3 1/4" mounting depth. All I got from them was an ID badge holder.

Cerwin-Vega has a shallow series. I've heard their towers before, they sound decent. Even when your idiot friend is blasting shitty dubstep.

You may also want to look into Ground Zero and DLS, I've been their nut-huggers for about five years now. Building my new comp vehicle around them. I know their kickwoofers are short. Subs are massive though.

DLS Audio, never really used them, but I know the have 150+ speaker models, so I would give them a chance.

Nevermind, the IDQ sounds like a great choice.

If those Image Dynamic IDQs are worth the money then id pay that for them. Ive just heard very little about them. Does anyone know if these are good quality subs?

Im reading reviews online about these IDQs and the reviews are terrifying.. dont think ill be buying these subs.. any other suggestions?
