shallow and sql do not really go together you are sacrificing power and excursion with a shallow sub

for sq the rlp304 mbquarts are nasty

The polk MM is the best shallow sub out in my opinion. Had kicker, pioneer, rockford kenwood. They all sound like sh*t. The polk MM sound like a regular sub. Can't beat them for the depth.

dd is supposed to have a flat 1500 series but i dont know dimensions, i think mounting depth in around 4 - 4.5 inches

I've been out of the game for some time. I'm running the IDQV3's now, but need to move to shallow subs. I have to put some car seats in back of the Tundra. Anyway, the Polk MM's seem to be a decent choice for shallows. My IDQ in terms for SQ are hard to beat, I'm going to miss them.

The SI BM is in the manufacturing stage and should be done soon. Once those are shipping they should really shake up the shallow mount scene.

It seems the BM has been in development stages for sometme. The website and forum seem dead.
