Shallow mount subs

What is the best shallow mount subs? Also how hard would it be to mount one under the seat of a 94-01 dodge ram?

Kicker just released the cvt's which are really shallow mounting depth. Not sure what the prices on those are since their still relatively new, but the will give some great bass for a shallow mount.

How is the exile sub. I found a shop somewhat near me that sells them. I'm in search of SQ mainly, but it has to be loud enough to keep up with my germs.

The review of the kicker rates it lower in SQ than the clarion. Critical mass keeps popping up, but hard to find a place to buy from. I don't mind spending a lot, but if I do I want to know that its going to be what I want.

I am more in to SQ as well. I have used a couple of 8's but they seemed to lack low end bass.

I just bought an Exile Xtec 10 with 3.5" mounting depth, I haven't even recieved it yet and it will be alittle while before I install it. (I have to make a fiberglass enclosure) From what I have read, I came up with the conclusion it was the best options for a 3.5" and smaller mounting depth sub. (maximum of what I wanted) The new JL Audio shallow subs (2.5") look very promising as well, but they aren't scheduled to be available until the fall of this year.
