shallow mount subs that get loud??

the cvts can get very loud in the right box. i've done them in both sealed and ported, and have yet to hear them fail. they are a bit deeper then most shallows though.

the pioneers flat out **** in every box. sound more like midranges then subs.

clarion has a decent shallow mount has well, was very impressed with it. not the best one out there, and a bit pricey, bu tnot bad.

and then there is SI. while i've not gotten to listen to any of their new products, if they are anything like the previous gen, whoa! they'll be good!

wat would be louder 2 12's l7's in a 5.2cuft box tuned to 34hz with 1500rms

or 4 12's of those re audio sl shallow mount woofers in a 5.2cuft box tuned to 34hz with 1500rms

yeah those things are suppose to get **** loud for a shallow sub. They sell them at the local shop here and only one person has bought it because they are so **** pricey, but my buddy who works up there said it is very impressive for being a shallow mount, but the price turns everyone away. Other than that i have never heard of a decently loud shallow.

no suprise there. JL thinks their shit is made of gold.

I would whole heartedliy recommend the Stereo Integrity BM or Mag V4, only 3.5" depth on the BM and only 5.5" on the Mag. Also the Mag only needs 1 ft^2 and the BM only needs .5 ft^3.
