no experience but I have heard the 13tw5 gets pretty loud and sounds good...they are kinda spendy tho

yeah those things are suppose to get **** loud for a shallow sub. They sell them at the local shop here and only one person has bought it because they are so **** pricey, but my buddy who works up there said it is very impressive for being a shallow mount, but the price turns everyone away. Other than that i have never heard of a decently loud shallow.

You can try the new RE shallow mounts, the 12" sub is only 3.5" deep or something like that. Don't know of anyone that's tried them yet, but being a first is never too bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I would also imagine them to be decent, look well built and RE puts out quality stuff.

I've heard a few vehicles with the Kicker CVT shallow mount series... in a small box, sealed, NOT LOUD, NOT EVER GONNA BE LOUD. put them in a decent ported box... maybe 2.5 cubes for a 12" and they get louder.. but kinda defeats the purpose of buying a "shallow mount" if you have that much room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif . You're probably buying these because you DONT have that much room...

maybe try running 3 - 4 or more sealed, and they might be "OK"

SI Bm is coming out soon, a few have heard the prototype, not me.

The new mag is only 5.5" mounting depth.

the JL TW5's are the the thinest made (2.5") and get more than loud with minimal power.

but yes they are a bit more than others

I am thinking of putting some Rockford Fosgate shallow mounts in my truck with a ported box because of the ported box the only shallow mounts I can fit under my rear seat would be the Fosgates or the pioneers.

The pioneers are really impressive. I was dumbfounded they were shallow subs.
