Shallow Mount Sub Advice

Hey guys
Calling on the experts here for a recommendation for a set of shallow mount subs to go under the rear seat of a 2018 Colorado.
I'm a classic rock guy and was leaning towards a set of 8's and over time was going to replace the factory speakers and add a dip/amp combo like the Kicker key.
Should I just grab a set of Pioneers TS-SW2002D2 and be done with it or are there other options out there.
Not looking for a crazy set up just better sound and little more tight bass.
