Shallow Mount and AMP

I need help to see if im getting ripped off

The seller has offered me a

for $209.99 + Tax

and

for $199.99 + Tax

Is that a good setup, its for a small space in a Mitsubishi Raider, AKA Dodge Raider.. behind my rear seat..

I found the amp for 109$, new on ebay, so i may purchase that if its a good amp..

But if anyone can reccomend me any other combinations that would fit 3" depth, that would be great(sub and amp)

you cant buy memphis online... they do not have any online authorized dealers. as for the kicker do some shopping youll find a cheap one somewhere

for 200 bucks you can get a zx750.1 possibly and that amp would work better for that sub since its rated for 500rms and can prob handle 750rms

At first, this confused me... but then I realized it was just worded funny.

You're trying to get the same stuff but for cheaper, not better stuff for that same price.

As for shallow mount subs... the only other shallow subs I know of are the JL TW5's, which are $500 bucks.

So if you HAVE to go with Shallow mount subs (At least that shallow) then you're probably best just buying off that guy.

As for the amp...

You can get it online for as low as $90 to about $130... this might include shipping, I'm not sure. I just did a quick http://www.froogle.com search.

If you want it ASAP, you might want to spend the money. But, if you can wait I'd say buy online. The homepage of http://www.caraudio.com has 10 web sites that're good... so look around those for something you'd like.

But some common knowledge is that most subs can take more than their rated RMS power. So, if your subs are rated for 500w RMS, then it can probably take 750RMS or anywhere inbetween. So you might wanna look for a stronger amp as that will increase your output.

You can also check out our Classified sections. People buy and sell audio equipment through this site all the time for really good prices, most of the time. If you can, buy from people with a lot of references and before you buy, search the 'feedback' section for their name to see what other people said about them.

Would you reccomend any other Amps, Different brands etc.. The most i want to spend on an amp is about 150$
