Shallow mesh grille replacement option for 6.5" Clearance issue

I use my E brake daily and to me it's an issue just short of destroying my grille over a short period of time ..I was curious about aan aftermarket or another option for one just a bit shallower to clear the Ebrake pedal. The hertz mpk mesh part of the grill is to bulky.

Any known grilles that are shallower that would still snug into the speaker. Wasn't sure if mesh grilles are all proprietary with each brand. Or if I would also need to have matching speaker ring for a new grille
