Well I finally got my system in. Its 2 Interfire Pro V-12s in a big ported box. Im Running a Rockford Fosgate T10001 Amp. The Amp is good as far as I know, although it has sat up for a whileee, and got dustty. I installed everything yesterday, and whenever I turn my Truck on to like ACC, you can hear the CD player loading up the Cd , and hear it like BUMP. THen like at first the noise is the bad part.. .its like the speakers are hittingg on the normaly bass of the song, but like 1000s of beats in between. ITS ALot worse if you have your truck running. Its like your listtening to a song that beats repeatedly for like a LONGG time. So I just got to messin around today, and I re ran my ground wire of my amp. That didnt help. what I thoguht was weird is whille i had my Head Unit Pulled out, i like unplugged my RCA cable from the back of it aand I like accidentally touched it to the back of the dash hole, and it touched metal and IT WOULD BUMP>..when you touched it ,like through the speaker. I really wish I could figure this out, bc I mean its LOUDD as helll, but its jus weird noises and stuff.

Sorry I was in a hurry when Typing that before, and it was hard to understand. Im just getting a horrible noise in my system, that is really annoying. Its not like the whine that ive read about on here, its more of just a RUMBLE. The speakers are hitting on the parts of the normal songs im used to hearing. Its like they are but its just hitting repeatedly in between the major bass parts. So its kind of just like the CONE is just going in and out, over and over, and making noise, but its like a big distorted sound, and sounds like crap. It worsens when my truck is running. Also whenever you have your truck running and it on, and you turn your AC ON, its like the AC is kind of like pulsing instead of just blowing out. Its like it goes along with the speaker kind of on how it blows air out. Can anyone help me with this problem??

Like I said before, it also makes a thump noise whenever you turn the CD player on, and the CD Player Loading you can hear through them. I have like a Innovatek DVD player..like the one with the little 3.6 inch screen. Im thinking that maybe I need to ground my RCA's but thats supposed to be with pioneers.

Sounds like you either have a really bad ground on your sub amp and/or your gain is cranked way too high. Make sure your ground return resistance is less than one ohm, and set your gain properly (there is an excellent sticky about doing this on this forum.)

Well I just had a friend come over and we hooked his RCA Cables from his cd player into my amp and it worked perfectly. SOUNDED AWESOME!!! None of what Im hearing when I hook my RCA"s up. So this has to point either to the HEADUNIT, or RCA.. well i changed my RCA Cables.. with 4 or 5 different ones I have, and it did the same with all of them. I dont know what to try yet. I mean this is a Cheap cd player, so that might be it somehow, but before I get rid of it I want to try and see if i can just fix it.
