Now first off i have a lot of 4 guage wire left over from a previous install, however i dont have too much of a problem buying 0 guage if needed. Now first off ill tell you guys what im running. I will be running 2 sets of components off of a Massive p400.4, pushing 100rms to 4 channels and a 12'' SI MAG off of a Massive p1000.1, running 1000rms to 1 channel. Will i need to upgrade my enitre system to 0 guage to support this, or will 4 guage be ok? I will also be completing the Big 3 with whatever guage you guys reccomend. Im still gonna have to buy more wire no matter what...

Also, is there any difference between "power wire" and "ground wire" from KnuKonceptz, or is it just the color? Any other things i need to worry about if i have to upgrade, i.e larger fuses etc? Thanks.

Upgrade to 0 gauge, shouldn't any difference of ground wire and power wire.

Fuses are there to protect the wire, put a fuse block ~3 feet from the positive terminal on your battery, a fuse after the distro block on both power wires to the amp, perhaps a fused distroblock, you could probably run 4 gauge to the amps, unless they requier more.

Personally, I'm running about the same amount of power, and I'm putting an additional battery in the trunk, upgrading all the wire to 0 gauge (big 3) and putting in a new 200 amp alternator soon.

If I run any more power, I'd probably put in a few more batteries, and isolate the car battery from the stereo batteries

Use 1/0

Need a inline fuse holder (ANL type) x 2 for fusing the wire from alternator when doing big 3

Put inline fuse holder as close to the battery as possible, not 3 feet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Fused distribution block from 1/0 input to 4awg output or you can run 1/0 straight to the p1000.1 if you want

KnuKonceptz cable is thicker than others so it might be a good idea to use their fuse blocks.
