Yes, I know I don't like the 'which amp' threads either but I have to this time so plz bear with me..

I will be runing a front component set that will take up to 150wrms pretty easily and has sounded good in the past on as little as 40.

The rear 2channels, for now, will run a single sub, dual 4ohm coils, that wants ~200rms total. I have a few offers on amps and am having a hard time deciding what I should go with. If it were you, and they all cost the same, which would you go with

PPI Art A404

4 x 50W @ 4

4 x 100W @ 2

2 x 200W @ 4

PPI 4200AM

4 x 50W @ 4

4 x 100W @ 2

2 x 200W @ 4

Xtant 4180C

4 x 45 @ 4

4 x 90 @ 2

2 x 180@ 4

Rubicon II 604

4 x 80W @ 4

4 x 150W @ 2

4 x 150W @ 1

2 x 160W @ 8

2 x 300W @ 4

2 x 300W @ 2

You need something one ohm stable stereo, 2 ohm mono. Other wise you won't get too much output to the sub, it'll be just like running the sub off of a 4 ohm stereo load, just wired mono at 8 ohms.
