today i will determine 1 of 2 things

1. listen to these vr series jl audio 6x9s

2. listen to the focals polyglass and boston sl60s

from there

1. get 6x9s put them in back and keep kappa perfects in front - save money

or

2. get either the focal or boston comp's put them in the front, build a plate put the kappa perfects in the back = spend money!

the solution was another amp (jl1000.1)my setup is complete, things sound perfect i'm happy, the end. (pics posted & reviews written soon)

when i saw that car (btw one of my favorite lookin cars) with the 5% tint and all shiny on the first batch of pictures, i thought, jeez that would be horrible if that car got slightly damaged.

well it looks like it got slightly damaged, now didn't it?

that sucks a lot man. how did your trip to the body shop go? and how is the reinstalling?

i really wish you'd show us how you did your box, i'm really interested in that sort of appearance. it looks really nice... well before the wreck.

just do me a favor before you go through with the rear speakers......hook up the fronts only and play with the -'s and positives on oneside....

review of jl1000.1 soon to come (lets wait until i'm back in business)

i'm not sure how box will be designed for the new setup i just want it ported to jl specs

you dont install? or unhook speaker wires? lol dood when i was a noob i fooked with 2 systems i owned that cost well over 8k each trust me on this if you get the fronts playing solidly together you are going to hate the back. its all time and location reasonings muddies up perception of clarity and volume

lol its not about money its about taking it from nice to awesome. im not trying to bs you you drive a hatch back it creates its own natural rear stage with all that lovely curved glass in back 100% honest . there is a new nissan that was in car audio and electronics that has focals when the stereo is on thats all the speakers that play (besides the sub) the rear and center kenwoods play only during the dvd or video game play...... too bad you lived in georgia because i have access to a vehicle that displays this very very very well. buy a test cd autosound 2000 test cd 102 sells for 10 bucks if the front is wired right (that doesnt mean + and - matching on every speaker) everything will sound VERY solid with the rears disconnected then will go to sh!t with them playing.
