Setting Gains

i know that there is another large thread for this, but after reading the first few pages, I had learned nothing. I was wondering if someone could write the proper way to set gains, possibly something sticky-worthy? Thanks

yeah check out jl audio's tutorials.

i usually do it with a volt meter or by ear.
